THE TITOULET SACRIFICED
I've realized this serie of posters for the striking workers of a printing company whose retirering CEO liquidated his assets, leaving 130 workers unemployed.
During the several month strike, during which Titoulet's workers occupied the factory, they erected 130 wooden crosses on a nearby roundabout, resolved to fight for their right.
All along the strike these poster -depicting the laid-off employees in front of their ever-silent machines- were placated everywhere in town, relating their story.
